How do I know my family members are in good hands?

  • All of our drivers are vetted with background checks, hold valid NSW licenses, and have WWCC and PTLC certificates - at a minimum.

  • All of our vehicles are high-end luxury vehicles with a 5-star ANCAP rating, are configured with top-of-the-line boosters/child seats, and are serviced regularly.

  • You will know exactly who is picking up your family members, and that their qualifications go beyond that of most drivers and child-care workers.

  • The person that will be taking care of your family members has years of experience taking care of their own family, children and friends.

What does FCAT provide that I don’t get from Uber or a taxi?

  • Guaranteed experienced drivers with decades of experience driving on Australian roads to Australian laws.

  • A vehicle with appropriate safety restraints for children of all ages - you tell us who we’re picking up, we configure the vehicle.

  • A luxury vehicle where you can pick the tunes, and the temp.

I can use a friend or babysitter, so why choose FCAT?

  • When it comes to transport, especially with children, safety is paramount - and commensurate to safety is a combination of driving experience, vehicle type/condition and safety rating, and the use of age-appropriate restraints. FCAT ensures to check all of the boxes when it comes to the well-being of our passengers.

  • We likely can’t compete with a friend’s kid when it comes to cost however our carers have years of experience parenting and are equipped with the skills and maturity to manage varying behaviours and challenges children can sometimes present.

  • Our drivers/carers have a number of current certifications related to first aid, public safety and aquatic rescue and while we hope that nothing ever goes wrong, it’s good to know that if it does a qualified person is there and prepared.

Can FCAT match prices?

  • We generally can’t do price matching due to the additional benefits of our offering however we do accept customers sharing services; so get a few adults or kids together and individual costs can come down quickly.

  • FCAT offers discounts for first-time customers and repeat customers, as well as rewards for referrals. Speak to us to see how you can save money on our services.

  • For basic pick-up/drop-off services, for example airport transfers, we will offer a competitive flat-rate fee that can be arranged before travel.

What qualifications do FCAT personnel have exactly?

  • At a minimum our personnel will have the following current certifications:

    • Working With Children Check (WWCC)

    • Passenger Transport License Code (PTLC)

    • HLTAID012 Provide First Aid in an Education and Care Setting

    • HLTAID011 Provide First Aid

    • HLTAID010 Provide Basic Emergency Life Support

    • HLTAID009 Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)

  • Additional certifications for some personnel include:

    • PUA20119 Certificate II in Public Safety and Aquatic Rescue

    • PUASAR015 Crew a small power craft in a rescue operation (IRB Crew)
